Description
Let the photography of the 1890s revive and work like the pioneers of light painting with the J. Lane Orthochromatic Speed Plates ASA 25.
In Brookline, New Hampshire, Jason Lane alias Pictoriographica created their own silver gelatin emulsion formula for the orthochromatic glass dry plates on the basis of old recipes. The outcome is marvellous and offers very fine grain, high contrasts and a fast exposure time. In order to ensure plate-to-plate consistency the emulsion is hand-coated upon the glass in an accurate and controlled manner.
The soda lime float glass itself is specially produced by Schott AG of Germany and guarantees maximum qualitiy. That way the modern black-and-white dry plate negatives are hardly to distinguish from the originals of the 19th century.
In Europe our Black and White Photographic Laboratory is the only provider of the J. Lane Dry Plates. If you need a size we don’t offer in our shop please contact us any time via mail at mail@schwarzweiss-fotolabor.de.
